Susannah Biller

Soprano Susannah Biller made her professional debut singing Tytania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream with Opera North and Opera Italia. This season, Ms. Biller’s performances include Euridyce in the San Francisco premiere of Philip Glass' Orphée, and her debut with Opera Santa Barbara as Serpina in La Serva Padrona.  At San Francisco Opera, she sang Woglinde and the Forest Bird in Der Ring des Nibelung, Atalanta in Serse, Frasquita in Carmen, and several roles in the world premiere of Heart of a Soldier. During the 2010-2011 season, she appeared with the San Francisco Opera Center singing Kristina in Janáček’s The Makropoulos Case and Madame Herz in Mozart’s Die Schauspieldirektor at the Herbst Theater.  A graduate of the University of Tennessee and Northwestern University, Ms. Biller recently  completed San Francisco Opera’s Adler Program and is a winner of the Metropolitan Opera Mid-South District auditions.
